Condylox ®
Prescription Topical Gel
|
| |
|
 |
Condylox destroys infected cells by
stopping the cell growth process.
USE
Use Condylox
only as directed by your doctor. Before applying
Condylox, make sure the area is dry. Use a
cotton-tipped applicator or your finger to apply
a small amount. Condylox can cause severe
irritation to untreated skin. If you apply
Condylox to normal skin, wash off immediately.
Use Condylox twice a day in 3-day cycles. Once a
3-day cycle is completed, wait four days to begin
another. Remember after you apply Condylox wash
your hands to remove any medicine. If genital
warts do not clear within four weeks, consult
with your doctor about continuing treatment.
PRECAUTIONS
Condylox is not
a cure for genital warts. The virus remains in
the body in an inactive state even when the warts
are gone. A person treated for genital warts may
still be able to infect others. Therefore, use
caution when engaging in sexual activity. Also,
Condylox has a tendency to weaken condoms and
diaphragms. You should wash off any excess
medicine before sex to prevent the spread of the
virus to others. DO NOT use Condylox if you:
- Are
pregnant or nursing.
- Are
allergic to Condylox.
- Have
genital warts in mucous membranes
(urethra, vagina, and anus)
SIDE
EFFECTS
